Privacy Policy Notice

I. Personally-Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

Smart Plus Enterprise Pty Ltd (trading as [Smart Plus Homes], [Smart Plus Design] and [Smart Plus Academy], ABN: 54 535 597944) referred in this document as SPE may collect two different types of information, Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”). PII that we collect is information that identifies you as an individual – and includes your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information, billing address and shipping information. Non-PII is aggregated information, demographic information, IP addresses, user behaviour data from web interaction metrics tools and other information that does not reveal your specific identity. PII and Non-PII may be collected anytime you access or use a SPE website. PII and Non-PII may also be collected by SPE during in-person discussions, telephone conversations, and electronic or other written communications. SPE also collects information via cookies; blocking cookies may render you unable to access certain SPE products, services, or websites.

SPE uses PII to respond to your inquiries, provide you with services you have requested, keep you informed of services SPE thinks may be of interest to you, and otherwise personalize your experience with SPE, and other reasons. SPE does not sell or lease PII about you to others.

PII information may be disclosed to the following types of organisations, upon written application where there is a specific reason and where the disclosure is required or authorised by law:

  • Government departments eg. Higher Education and Skills Group (HESG), Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA), Department of Industry, Department of Immigration and Border Protection, VET and Higher Education Regulators (ASQA and TEQSA), the Australian Taxation Office, Centrelink, and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development;
  • External organisations (e.g. professional bodies, hospitals) or government agencies (e.g. VCAA and VTAC);
  • External organisations contracted for the purposes of undertaking SPE commissioned research for the benefit of the SPE;
  • Contracted service providers which the SPE uses to perform services on its behalf;
  • To an employer or organisation sponsoring a participant’s study;
  • Other tertiary educational institutions for results, course completion or certificate verification to facilitate your subsequent application to that institution.

SPE will provide your e-mail address to affiliates or users who refer you to us, or through whom you create a SPE account. SPE shares your PII with SPE affiliates and third parties contracting with SPE to provide services to you, including financial institutions, that you have chosen to assist you. SPE employees who design our databases and software, and those employees who provide you with customer service, along with our customer service partners, also have access to PII as part of their job in providing services to you. SPE may also share PII when required by law, or when you have expressly requested SPE to do so. SPE reserves the right to disclose and use your PII if SPE believes it is necessary to: (a) respond to legal process, e.g., a subpoena; (b) respond to a law enforcement agency’s request; (c) enforce the Terms; or (d) protect the rights, privacy, safety, property, or operations of SPE or third parties;

Because Non-PII does not personally identify You, SPE reserves the right to use and disclose to third parties Non-PII for any purpose. SPE maintains reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect PII from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. SPE enforces its Privacy Policy via self-assessment.

SPE reserves the right to change this privacy notice, which changes will become effective upon posting of the revised notice on privacy-statement-collection-notice/,or upon emailing of the changes to You at the email address You provided to SPE, or as required by law.

Collection of Site Visit Data The SPH websites are as follows:

When entering the car park or building where SPE is having events, Personal Information may be collected in the form of images recorded by video and camera surveillance systems for the management and security of the property. The Personal Information and images may be collected by SPE, management and security of the property may collect your Personal Information and images from third parties (e.g. the Police). This information may be used by SPE for incident reporting purposes and shared with law enforcement, government bodies, SPE staff, subcontractors and insurers. The registration plates of vehicles parked in SPE car parks may also be collected and used for the above purposes.

II. Links to or From Other Sites

Except where expressly stated by SPE, SPE is not affiliated or associated with operators of any third party websites that link to or are linked from any SP websites. SPE disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy or content of information found on third party websites that link to or are linked from any SPE website. SPE disclaims any responsibility for the security of any information (including without limitation credit card and personally identifiable information (“PII”)) that you may provide to any third party. SPE reserves the right, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, to block links to any SPE-maintained website through technological or other means without prior notice.

III. Information; Registration; User Names and Passwords

As a SP websites user, you will be required to create an account with SPE. You warrant that the information you provide SPE is truthful and accurate, and that you are not impersonating another person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any password you may use to access your SPE account, and you agree not to transfer your password or User name, or lend or otherwise transfer your use of or access to your account, to any third party. You are fully responsible for all transactions with, and information conveyed to, SPE under your account. You agree to immediately notify SPE of any unauthorized use of your password or Username or any other breach of security related to your account. You agree that SPE is not liable, and you will hold SPE harmless, for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with any of the foregoing obligations.


We create a cookie with the name “privacy_embeds” on user clients browsing your site to manage and store user consent to load the different third party embeds and tracking scripts.
